Absurd Notions: Dramatis Personae: Warren

Warren likes control in his life. When those around him are lacking an authority figure, Warren steps in and makes the decisions. He is intelligent, and is quick with his dry wit. He is very irritable, however, and will rapidly lose his temper when thrust into a situation beyond his control. At such times, his impatience can be so intense as to override his common sense. He is, of course, employed as a Network System Administrator, a position of power and powerlessness alike. Only his love of order, as opposed to chaos, prevents him from being an all-out BOFH; he can't stand the idea of downtime on his network even if it only inconveniences users he hates, and he has a problem lying to people about technology because it sounds too much like being wrong. When the group is at play, Warren is the Game Master, a rather similar role.
